At the Security '98 exhibition in Sydney, Australian Security Supplies
won the "Larry Field Inaugural Encouragement Award" This was awarded to
us during the ASIAL gala dinner by ASIAL's President Larry Circosta. The
award was described as being for a company who represented the morals and
inspiration, which mirrored that of Larry Field, who died earlier this
year after many years of service to the security industry.
We were described as having made an achievement through providing excellent customer service as well as competing with the larger Sydney and Melbourne based companies while working with limited resources and budgets.
Although this is an excellent achievement for the team at Australian
Security Supplies, we feel it is also a huge win for all of the South Australian
security industry. It shows that our state, although smaller is just as
experienced and aggressive in this competitive industry. We have the
skills and competency to not only provide security protection to
large and small local industry but also compete with our interstate counterparts.
| This award proves that South Australia is
not a backwater of Australia.
